Welcome to The Swan Foodhouse & Bar, a family-run pub located in the heart of Sutton Courtenay on the village green. We take pride in serving delicious food made using the finest locally sourced produce. Our menu is inspired by Spanish flavours, offering authentic tapas and paella all year round, alongside our popular Sunday lunches every weekend.

Whether you're joining us in the warmer months to relax in our large enclosed garden while the children enjoy the play area, or visiting in winter to unwind by our cosy open log fire, we aim to make every visit feel welcoming and enjoyable.

We're proudly dog-friendly and host a variety of themed evenings throughout the year, as well as occasional live music to bring our community together.

A little more than your local Pub
We’re an English Foodhouse and Bar, with a number of Spanish influences throughout the menu. My wife is from Spain, so I’ve got to know the food, the ingredients and the way it’s cooked. That’s the reason you’ll find dishes such as tapas and paella on our menu. They’re Spanish dishes that I enjoy cooking and that work well alongside the more traditional food we serve. Bringing some of that Spanish influence and culture into the pub has also helped us attract a loyal following from both the local area and further afield. What started as an English pub in a small village has grown into a place where people come for good food, a relaxed atmosphere and a menu with a bit more variety.
